Retirement Acrylic Painting - Level I & II - Join Vlasta Kelemen for informative lessons in painting with acrylics. Stroke types, techniques and form will be the focus of this hands-on class. Be inspired, have an open mind and create a masterpiece!

Beginning to Draw - Learn proper measuring techniques, real observation, how to highlight, shadow and translate accurate perspectives into your drawings. Use of graphite, charcoal and conte crayon will be explored. Ideal for beginners or for those taking other painting courses requiring a refresher.

Beaded Jewellery - Explore the wonderful world of beads! Develop beadweaving, fibre and wire crochet, braiding, knotting, stringing skills and finishing techniques. Series samples are on display at the Evergreen Centre office. There is a $50 equipment kit included to help get you started. Instructor: Roxann Blazetich-Ozols, the Beadaddict

Bunka Artistry - Originating from Japan, a combination of punch needles and silk-like rayon threads are used to create art. This course is for all skill levels. Supplies average $50 and can be purchased from facilitator Mary Pierson.

Fundamentals of Drawing - Join Carol Cupid as she trains your eyes to help you draw anything in front of you through instruction on elements of line, tonal values, perspective, composition and more.

Swedish Weaving - Learn the art of weaving to create beautiful works of art using existing blankets, pillow cases and sheets. No special equipment is required, just a knack for creativity and time to weave.

Watercolour - Advanced - Designed for those with experience in watercolour painting, focus on fine tuning skills and expanding your knowledge of watercolour. Complex sketching, shadowing, and painting techniques will develop fine pieces of art. Instructor: Ron Sainsbury.

Watercolour - Techniques l / Continuing - Learn the A to Z basics of watercolour painting. This is a hands-on course that includes in-class practice, short lectures, and demonstrations. Suitable for beginners and experienced artists. Instructor: Ron Sainsbury
