Acrylic Painting -Join us for informative lessons in painting with acrylics. Stroke types, techniques and form will be the focus of this hands-on class. Be inspired, have an open mind and create your masterpiece with this form of art. This class is intended for individuals with previous experience.

Painting with Pastels - Intermediate Level - This pastel course is a continuation of the Beginning Pastels course. he first course in pastels. The basic exercises four weeks will be focused on the technical aspects including working with understanding values, various strokes, under painting and using various ready made supports. The second half of the course will comprise personal projects and focus more on content and composition while working on subjects which are of more interest to the individual student. There will be lots of individual attention to each student at his/her level.

Beading Basics - Come and explore the wonderful world of beads! Develop bead weaving skills as well as fibre and wire crochet, braiding, knotting, stringing and jewelry finishing techniques. Series samples are on display at the Evergreen Centre office. There is a $50 equipment kit included to help get you started.

Bunka Artistry - Originating from Japan, a combination of punch needles and silk-like rayon threads are used to create art. This course is for all skill levels. Supplies average $50 and can be purchased from the instructor.

Fundamentals of Drawing - This comprehensive course focuses on using proper measuring techniques and real observation. Learn about the tools: graphite, charcoal and how to see and develop highlight, shadow and accurate perspective in your drawings. We will begin by drawing the basic shapes of the cones and cubes, and move on to more complex still life subjects, interior spaces and the human portrait. This course is ideal for either the absolute beginner, or for those who may be taking other painting courses and need a refresher course to hone their drawing skills.

Watercolour - Advanced - Developed for those with experience in watercolour painting, we will focus on fine tuning skills and knowledge of watercolour. Complex sketching, shadowing, and painting techniques will develop fine pieces of art.

Watercolour - Techniques l / Continuing - Learn the A to Z basics of watercolour painting. This is a hands-on course that includes in-class practice, short lectures, and demonstrations. It is suitable for rank beginners as well as more experienced artists.
