Caring and trained senior volunteers who listen
Founded in 2003, Seniors Offering Support is a telephone and information service, operated by a team of senior volunteers.
We believe seniors prefer to talk to other mature persons who have similar life experiences and understand the unique challenges facing seniors.
What Seniors Offering Support can do for you:

Did You Know?
The number of Canadians aged 65 years and over will more than double between now and the year 2031, when almost 1 in 4 citizens or at least 7.5 million Canadians will be 65 years of age or over.According to the Canadian Aging Research Network, one in three Canadians will be over 50 by the end of the century.
In addition, the elderly population itself is getting older. The fastest growing segment of the elderly population is the over 85 age group.
This anticipated shift in demographics clearly demands new community initiatives to address the concerns, issues and crimes that affect our seniors.
