Twice each month home-bound seniors are brought to the Evergreen Seniors Centre for a half-day program of fun, activities, entertainment and lunch.

A minimal fee is charged.

The "Outreach Program" has a few empty chairs to fill. We need a few seniors who require assistance to leave their homes for an outing. We provide an experienced volunteer driver who will safely bring you from your door to ours. You want to meet some new people and you want something interesting to do!

Recently we saw a "Shriner" apply his makeup and costume and tell us what it is like to be a Shrine Clown; we heard about a trip to China, a vacation in Alaska; and we heard about community programs like S.O.S. (Seniors Offering Support). We play Bingo and other games and enjoy musical entertainment.

We meet on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of each month. At lunch, you can enjoy a hot meal or soup and a sandwich plus dessert for a cost of $5.00. Your first visit is "free of charge".
