Do you enjoy downhill or cross country skiing?

The Evergreen Ski Club has 2 Divisions, Cross Country and Downhill (Alpine). When joining the Ski Club, you indicate your preference between the two or you can join both divisions. It costs $10.00 to join the Ski Club and that entitles you to belong to one or both the Divisions.

Mondays will be established as the day Downhill/Alpine skiers car pool to Blue Mountain. We will leave on the 1st Monday Blue Mountain is open and continue with every Monday into April when Blue closes. There will be a break over the Christmas Holidays. We will leave Guelph at 8:00 a.m.. If you join this group, a 5 x7 pass purchase is advisable, but only if you intend to ski more than 5 times. A Day Pass to Blue Mountain is about $40.00 at this time of year and will go up to about $55.00 at peak season. The 5 x 7 pass costs $277.00 now and entitles you to cost discounts of 15% on food, clothing and equipment at Blue Mountain. See the web site for details - www.bluemountain.ca

The Cross Country Division will ski on Wednesdays or Thursdays. We will be skiing local areas as snow permits like; The Royal Recreational Trail, The Ignatius Centre Trails, The Arboretum, Golf Courses like Cutten Fields and Guelph Country Club, The Jack Rabbits Club, The Guelph Lake Conservation Authority and Shade's Mill (Cambridge). Other Trails may be suggested by members. About 3 members in the past have expressed interest in snow shoeing. We will not organize snow shoeing events,but will put snow shoers in touch with one another.

There will be an Information Meeting of the Ski Club in Room 2 of the Evergreen Centre on Monday December 5, 2011 at 10:00 - 11:00 am in Room 3.

Registration Forms will be available at the front desk of the Evergreen Centre where you can also pay your $10.00 at the same time
